Walking from the train station (15-20 minutes)
From the train station, get to the main road and turn to the left heading to the town centre. Walk up Hythe Bridge Street, George Street, Broad Street and Holywell Street (this is all in a straight line) Half way down Holywell Street turn left on to Mansfield Road. The University Club is on your right about half way down.
Please note there is a Taxi Rank at the train station.
By Car
From the South: Take exit 8 on the M40, joining the A40 heading towards the city centre. At the Headington Roundabout take the second lane heading towards Headington. Continue straight on through 2 sets of traffic lights (approx. 2-3 miles). At the next roundabout take the third exit towards the Town Centre. At the traffic lights, take the right hand lane and turn right on to Long Wall Street. Follow the road around until it joins South Parks Road. Mansfield Road is half way down on the left. The University Club is half way down Mansfield Road on the left.
From the North - Take the exit junction 9 on the M40 and join the A34 towards the Pear Tree interchange. At the Pear Tree Interchange take the 2nd exit A44 (Woodstock Road) At the Wolvercote Roundabout take the 2nd Exit A40 (north) and continue until the next roundabout and take the 3rd Exit Banbury Road A4165. At the traffic lights, turn left onto Parks Road and the left again on to South Parks Road. Half way down on the right is Mansfield Road. The Unversity Club is half way down Mansfield Road on the left.
Another long term option is Oxford City Council’s Gloucester Green Car park, a 20 minute walk away.
Parking in Gloucester Green Car Park can be arranged through the RingGo service. On arrival you need to call 01865 989000 and quote Location code 3901. They then need to state the number of hours needed for their parking session, the system will then calculate the correct charge including the overnight tariff. Once parked, you also have the opportunity to extend their parking session if needed without having to return to the vehicle, again by calling the above number. Bus & train links
The nearest local bus and London/Heathrow/Gatwick coach stops to the club are at the junction of Queens Lane and the High Street. We are about a 10-15 minute walk from there or you can hail taxis from there. We are about a 20 minute walk from the main coach station at Gloucester Green and about 25-30 minutes walk from the railway station.
